Voluntary Fair at Harlquin Theatre |
In January 2009 Reigate and Banstead Council Voluntary Service hosted the first Volunteer Fair. Reigate Stepping Stones had a stall manned by Val, David Murphy and Muff Chisholm with Valerie Stanford and Johanna Hughes also giving help and support. Bob Reeves came in for a short time late morning.
From Reigate Stepping Stones point of view it certainly was a very successful and rewarding experience as several members of the public offered their services as possible volunteers, particularly with regard to the allotment. A few people spoke about the possibility of becoming members and we also made contact with various organisations regarding short courses that maybe of interest to the members and training for Trustees and volunteers.

Thanks also to Callum, Jane and Andrew whom Dave Harris brought in as volunteers, Dave Dixon for transporting people to and from their homes and last but not least Steve Vickers for helping with the cooking.
